What's the Buzzzz ...?

There's a lot to buzz about this weekend!!

The annual Flower Sale in downtown Northville is Friday and Saturday, Saturday evening is Gardenviews' Block Party,  with entertainment, shopping and having bunches of fun!!! We will be open till 8 both days.

Monday is Memorial Day, a day for celebrating our heroes and planting the flowers that you bought at the Flower Sale! The Dancing Eye Gallery will be closed on Monday.

Thanksgiving Blog #2

Now that Girl's Night Out is over, we'll get back to celebrating the holiday of Thanksgiving. On the first blog, we talked about vessels that you could use for your Turkey Day dinner.
Today we'll suggest some wall art for your home. Everyone needs a little new something for that empty spot on that wall you've been meaning to fill. Well, now is the time, especially if you have guests coming for dinner.
So, take a look at some of many ideas we have:

Flower Sale!

David Ellison Tiles

The Gallery has recently received a new shipment of spectacular David Ellison tiles!
Choose from 3.5x3.5 to 8x8 square tiles to unusual shapes and styles. Most of these delightful pieces are highlighted with soft hues of yellow, green, gray or cream on clay. Ellison's three-dimentional tiles appeal to any taste. They are great for gift-giving or to add to your own collection of tiles.

New David Ellison Tiles

Both galleries just received large shipments of tile work from St. Clair Shores artist David Ellison. How can I sum these tiles up in one word? Easy. STUNNING!

David works with the natural color of the clay and applies his glaze in a way that lets it show through. This effect lends an aged and softer look to his work. His tiles are like something you'd find buried amongst ancient ruins. His attention to detail is meticulous. These tiles have to be seen and touched in person to really be appreciated.
