First Friday Experience

Join us this Friday, June 1,  at the Dancing Eye Gallery for Northville's First Friday Experience. We will be open late and our featured artist will be Melinda Curtis. Melinda will be featuring her handmade and hand-painted scarves with which she will demonstrate tying techniques as well as her unique "hand sculpted" pins which she sculpts with a stylus, then paints by hand.  It will be a fun night, so get out and enjoy the summer weather.
Remember, we are open every Friday night until 8 p.m. during the summer.

Three Olives and a Pickle

We heartily welcome Nancy Legault and her organic pottery line, Three Olives and a Pickle to the Dancing Eye Gallery! Nancy is an experienced, local artist whose ceramics are full of whimsy with fresh produce and botanical themes. Her custom glazes enhance her very unique and fun pieces which include pitchers and other vessels, veges such as eggplants, squash, peas in a pod and more.
Come in and savor a taste of Nancy's talents. We guarantee any piece of hers that you proudly display will evoke ooohhs and aahhhs or a simple, "That's so cool!"

Girl's Night Out

What's your favorite scrabble letter? Picture? Well, whatever floats your boat, whether for Mom, a graduate, your BFF or bridesmaids, your sister or yourself, come to downtown Northville on Friday night, May 11 for a fun evening of shopping! Bring a friend and join us at the Dancing Eye Gallery that night along with local artist, Renee Verklan. She will be here custom making her famous scrabble necklaces for you! We will also have a special raffle! Don't miss this great evening, just in time for Mother's Day! Don't forget, we are open every Friday night till 8 p.m.

First Week of May

It's hard to believe May is upon us already! Aren't you ready for some warm weather? Just in time for the kick-off of the Farmer's Market 2012 season, it is predicted to be in the 80s! So, put on your sunscreen and bring your recyclable tote bag for all the goodies you will buy and head to the Market on Thursdays from 8-2 p.m.

Also coming up this week is Northville's First Friday Experience. We will be open until 8 p.m. every Friday starting on 5/4. We have received new shipments of jewelry such as the tiny rhinestone pull bracelet in a variety of colors; some hot, Southwest-style jewelry and some great cuff bracelets in silver and gold--for Mom or Grad or You!

Eeewwwww! Bugs!

If bugs can be cute and artistic and colorful, then Michigan artist Marlene Galperin has captured another side of what we think about bugs.

Marlene's newest creations can hang on a wall or "crawl" on a table. They are about 13"-16" in length and have maybe the most benevolent "faces" of any bug I've ever seen!

Come in and give a bug a home! Summer is just around the corner!
