Visit the Gallery to see the new collection of "Bird on a Wire" and heart tiles by Michael and Patti Monroe Mohrenweiser and also the carved, perched wooden Ravens by Mark Orr.

The Mohrenweisers encaustic technique is also known as hot wax painting which involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The liquid/paste is then applied to the surface or tile.

As Mark Orr of Scavenger Art signature pieces, the Ravens or Crows are perched on a heart or house and symbolize a gatherer of found objects and messengers of new possibilities. The birds might hold a pair of vintage dice that represents chance or fate. A skeleton key symbolizes the opening of doors.
